Are H&R springs the only way to lower SH model?

I want to lower my car, but i don't really wanna do "springs" only, i think the tein coilovers are for fwd models only.

Anyone have any "insight" as to other available choices?

None thus far for the SH-AWD. Here's hoping that Koni comes out with something.

Yea, i'm like 99% sure on the width, the offset is correct. And 5x120 also correct.

I have +40 on my 8.5 inch wheels, not sure how that breaks down on a 9ish wheel.

thats a pretty dope fitment... you'll definitely need 235/35/20, or you will rub in the front (if you plan to lower it)

Ive always had my eyes on a certain set of wheels... 20x9 +45

Dude, you gotta update your thread with some photos showing the updated drop... I wonder if CleanCL's ride also dropped more after he got his installed.

Really? I didn't notice mine get much lower after the initial install.

BTW - I think I saw you leaving Microcenter last night, if not then you have a twin.

Man, I still have what I consider a lot of wheel gap, lol. But that's me. I think 19s would fill it perfectly, but I drive way too much through Queens/Bronx/NYC to deal with 19" rims.

I'm looking at 18s with a more aggressive offset, I know, I'm going to take crap for that.

245/30/20 nitto invo's is what they're putting on the wheels for me, now how sure are you that i will rub?

i did the online offset calculator, and i will have my wheel stick out 33 mm from stock.

i want to order right now, but i just want to be sure, i think you guys will love my wheels, some dish , and i'm getting the h&r springs, along with the test pipe, and comptech ice box when ready.

245/30/20 = wrong tire size.

245/35/20 or 235/35/20

If you got with the 245/30/20, your speedometer will be off by a good amount of MPH and your ABS may not operate 100% properly.

Offset will be fine... but like i said, you might want to get 235/35 so you wont rub in the front if you go lower

lol... im always on the lookout for your car when im in the Westbury Jericho area... still yet to see it

I am pretty content with my drop... My teins were lower on the 3G, but i think this is a pretty good job. maybe my lip kit makes the car appear lower too...

the sizes you said, will those keep the aspect ratio of the stock sizes? i don't want to damage my awd system.

Practice makes perfect... not too many people have experimented with this car yet....

I love aggressive fitments, and i dont want to roll my front fenders

Personally and Ideally... i would want

20 x 9.0 +45 245/35/20 All around... thats what i plan on getting

its close.... the rear should be fine, the front might rub, when the wheel is turned and you go over a dip

worse case scenario, you can just cut the tab or roll the fender

by the way, you get an A+ for fitment!!

ok so under normal driving conditions i shouldn't rub right? can't wait, it'll be my first set of aftermarket wheels, i'm sure you guys will like them. Got some nice lippage on there

H&R springs used another one of our cars for their testing. I do believe that they are going to need a car again in the future for coilovers. I am going o be sending my new TSX up there in the next couple of week for coilovers than after that they are going to try coil overs for the new TL. I also have TL AWD springs in stock if anyone needs them.
