You really need to get an alignment to determine how much your camber is off. You will likely at least need a rear toe kit, which we offer through Ingalls.

http://store.excelerateperformance.c.../i-412290.aspx

A qty of 2 is needed.

You will need to lower the car around 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 inches to get that 1 finger gap. With that much lowering front/rear you will need a front and rear camber kit to bring your camber within OEM specs.

Is a camber kit the same as the toe kit above?

No. That kit above will adjust your toe but to adjust your camber you will need two more additional arms per side in the rear. SPC have the full kit that adjust toe and camber and Josh sells those kit also. Here's a link showing the three arms needed per side to adjust both toe and camber in the rear.

http://www.spcperformance.com/compon...AFrom&to=USATo

To adjust your camber in the front you'll need a ball joint from either Ingalls or SPC and Josh from Excelerate usually have those in stock.

Here's a link to the ball joint you'll need for the front to adjust your camber

LOL. You're way off on the price .
The price for all the parts for the rear camber/toe kit is around $315.00.....and the price for the two ball joints for the front is $130.00.

So for around $445.00 you get everything you need for the front and rear to adjust your camber and toe.

I was thinking all 4 wheels needed it thats why. -__- Ya got me. On the site it said 225$ per kit from xlr8. $450 for rears only. The front wheels wouldn't need any additional parts?

No additional parts will be needed for the front. All you need is the 2 ball joints. 1 for the right side and 1 for the left side.

This is the link to the rear camber/toe kit from INGALLS.

http://store.excelerateperformance.c.../i-412291.aspx

You need a qty of 2 to complete the rear.

Josh that link you provided from INGALLS part #35623 that kit will not adjust the rear camber on the 4G. In the pic below the small item which is the ball joint will adjust the front camber...
and the 1 arm will adjust the rear toe.

To camber the rear and adjust toe you will need the full rear camber/toe kit from SPC part #67540 that i metioned in post #46 in this thread.
Here's a pic of the SPC camber/toe kit needed to adjust the toe and camber on the 4G. Those 3 pieces below is just for 1 side of the rear.

I wonder if it's just the image that isnt' correct - the page shows:

Ingalls Alignment Kits correct Caster, Camber and Toe problems associated with lowering you vehicle.
Adjustment Camber/Toe +/- 3 deg

Seems like the SPC kit is camber/toe/setback vs Ingalls camber/toe/caster. Feel free to chime in Josh

Fyah, that is incorrect. The TL has a rear upper control arm. The INGALLS kit replaces the rear upper ball joint and it does allow adjustment of camber. SPC does camber adjustment also, but it replaces different components.

See the picture below to see where the adjustable rear ball joint would go.

We can offer free shipping on any order of camber kits for those who purchased the coilovers.

Josh. Got it and the diagram clears the discussion. The Ingalls rear kit uses the ball joint for rear camber and the one arm for rear toe....whereas the SPC that i have is different where SPC uses the three arms for camber and toe. Thanks for the updated info.

The INGALLS kit replaces # 21 (ball joint) and #14 (toe arm).

I would go on to say the SPC is a better buy for the rear, as it seems easier to adjust and install and you can take out three bars and replace them with stock arms when you sell the car.

Why? The ball joint would serve the same purpose. If anything the install is more time consuming but once the install is done its just function. You'd still need to be on an alignment machine whether you get the SPC or Ingalls

I would avoid installing another ball joint when possible, the bars are much simplier, easier to install and to adjust. Plus once again the resale value of selling your camber kit arms when you put the car back to stock. Just my opinion.

True. I get what you mean

I guess for me since I plan to keep the car for a while I wouldn't mind getting the ball joint. Vs if you want to make it easier on yourself when you want to part out your car for whatever reason the camber arm kits are the way to go

Plus I have had trouble finding shops that can actually adjust the ball joint, you need a special wrench.

We just installed a set of these; it didn't require a special wrench.

Maybe for the front then, but I remember the wrench had to be extra long and the end had to be angled to loosen the nut to adjust.

I spoke with Josh yesterday. They were supposed to come last Friday but customs delayed it. Josh said he was expecting to pick them up yesterday and should be available to ship this Friday. Hopefully Josh has them now

Hi Josh, I have a off topic question that I would like to ask here as I think I can't use my PM feature yet. If I am going to order test pipes and J-pipe from your website, How do I determine how much cost for the shipping to Canada. I live in Vancouver, BC.
