22's or bust!

After viewing a lot of 20's on the forum, I think 22's best compliment the 4th gen TL's.

Don't get me wrong, there are many great 20's on the board, but 22's just do it for me.

However, in most cities, 22's with the tiny rubber bands will bust.

Yea, you'll need 35 profile tires on those 22's, and then your speedo will be off by about 5%... I'd love to see some non-chrome 22's on the TL. I'd bet they look pretty good.

Being on 20's on 245/35/20 tires - is my speedo now off and enough that I need to worry?

(coming from the stock 17" on the FWD)

I wanted to do 22" on my WDP but dont like the fact of my tire profile being so thin..! So its 20"s for me with a drop!

I think the difference is only like 1/10 of 1% off, so nothing to worry about with that tire size.

I've put 22's on my 09 two days ago. Thought they would be too much but the style and color are perfect. Glad I didn't go with the 20's.

I Have 20's in NYC and it's been interesting. I just found a crack on one of them and I'm pissed. In cities where the roads are great you can get away with it but here in NYC you could be asking for trouble.

I saw that she was selling her 22s. Someone else mentioned that they saw them on ebay. Not sure why she decided to sell them, tho.

I'm in DC so I can't even entertain 22s. Acuragoddess' TL looked hot as shyt but I'd be ready to catch a case messin' around with these raggedy ass streets.
