What do you think of these? Trying to make it a type R! 19x8.5 on 245/40/19 T1R. Hate it like it? I don't mind you telling me the truth! I can take a hit!

I voted: "Hate it". The 4G isn't made for the white rim look. It's more lux, not as sporty as the 3G.

The only white rims that look good on any car are the TE37s.

I voted okay at best. I don't care for the red pinstripe, looks cheesy. The rim design is okay. From these pics, the rims look a different shade of white to me. I think Ron Jon's chromes are the best I've seen on a WDP 09 TL. It just looks classier for my tastes. I'm glad u have the splash guards on, I love them on the TL, it's like a baby kit and gives a lowered appearance. Oh also the tires don't look sporty enough or something?

Rims are white and not WDP, I might be wrong but isn't ITR rims a little lighter in color too?. Tires are not PS2 but those toyo T1R are pretty good.

type R treatment should stay with the civic, teggy or at most Accord. But definetly not a luxury car like the TL.

Like putting bling wheels on an EVO, just doesn't work.

Well, Bling and VIP style is not my cup of tea. I want it to look more sporty. If you have driven a 09 TL with 19" wheels, you will understand that Acura wasn't interested in a Luxury sedan but a Sport sedan. It's no Cadillac but a go cart that will loosen your tooth filling.

Looking at this thread again, it doesn't look mean or aggressive enough for my tastes, but again it's not ugly to me.

I actually like it. It isn't what I would have done with a 4G, but it looks good. Just lower it a little and you will be set

I would have lowered it but the 19" and the T1R is making my TL quite bumpy. I can now feel all the little bumps on the road but is really stable at FWY speed.

I'm not feeling that at all. That red stripe reminds me of those old mag wheels american racing had back in the day for $29 each at discount tire.

They're OK...but I think they would look better without the red trim. Unless you carry that red trim out somewhere else on the car too.

I like them. I really like the look. May do the same kind of look for my black 4th Gen. Except with the black rim with the red stripe around. I am feeling them!

Those black Red Stripe are really nice but I wanted mine white. I am getting the front grill painted to match and depending on price I might get those wheels repainted to match.

Not feelin' it Bro, sorry...like some of the others, the TL is not a Tuner and shouldn't be modded like one. One factor that would concern me further: White Diamond Pearl is not a true white, these wheels look pretty white, almost appliance white.

lookz pretty ok for now.

a 2" drop and under bodykit with color matach front grill should make it alot more appealing. IMO

overall, not too shabby.

Can't get rims that is exact color match. Just like black on rims won't be 100% match with a Acura Black color or any car manufactur black. I am working on it.
I am current working on getting the front grill and rims painted to match. Will have more pics once it's done. Not sure about the drop, with 19" car is ridding like a go kart.
