Wreak... its a FWD. The SH-AWD that I was going to buy sold the night before I went to the dealership. I wanted the white w black interior, and that combo was difficult to find in SoCal

Love the exhaust, how do you find the sound/drone? I be installing mine this weekend if it arrives on Friday as per UPS website.
Thanks!

I'm actually getting the resonator installed tomorrow am. Sound/Drone does sound good, but w a 3 month old baby in the back seat, I elected to get the resonator put in (magnaflow 10436). It's really the cabin noise I am wanting to get rid of, especially when accelerating up any type of hill or low rpm.

But I do love the look and feel of the ATLP. Congrats on yours!

It wouldn't be an enthusiast message board without the guy with knockoff wheels and cut springs telling everyone they are 'lame' lol

I am thinking of doing the same set up but with 19" on my AWD TL.
Wheel Size: 19x8.5 Front and 19x10 rear
Bolt patter: 5x120
I am adding some H&R springs too to lower it about an inch or so. Would this setup work? any advise it highly appreciated.

It will depend on your offset and tire sizes whether that setup will work or not.

Nice looking ride. Very clean!! I have to say that i have lowered mine and I like it. Very close to stock quality. Took a 1000+ mile trip with a 9 mo old and he slept like normal while driving.

Man everyone is so scared of rubbing, i'm running 20x10.5 @ +42 in the rear with 285's lowered 1.6 on S Tech's and no fender roll had 4 adults in the car and a wheelchair in the trunk last night and wasn't rubbing... and for the record my $200 springs ride better than stock... and were the perfect drop for my situation... Wife drives the car as her daily... so it's not slammed and it comes in the driveway by 1/8 to a 1/4 of an inch from scrubbing the front lip kit...

The teins s do ride better than the stock springs. I could not believe the ride quality of the springs. But I don't understand the TL's because I have a 20x 10 with a 37 offset and 275 on the rear and I had to shave my fender in the back and it still rub sometimes.

What series are you 275's? 30 or 35 can't remember? but I think your rub issue comes from the 10 not 10.5 wheel... your 275 actually "fits" the wheel and doesn't have that little stretch it needs to get by the fender...

Hey Pots what the web address with that offset calc? can you do a compair of his 20x10 with a 275/30 @+37 vs a 275/30 on a 10.5 @ +42

That may be the issue, not have the stretch in the tires.

Thanks for this post OP. I'm pretty much in the same situation. '12 WDP thinking of going 20" Vossen vvs 082 or vvs 083. Thinking 19's might be too small without lowering. With wifey and 3 y/o I'm worried about ride quality. I do about 75 miles round trip every day to work. 20x8.5 front // 20x10 rear seems about the right. So everyone recommends Tein SS coilovers? Anyone know the exact one to get? What should everything cost with parts/install? Liking the exhaust too OP.. Sweet ride! Great work

I'm just curious here so forgive me if it sounds n00bish, but why are you FWD guys running 10.5 wheels on the rear? I mean sure the 4g has a really beefy looking rear that would definitely look mean with some wider wheels but seems like it'd just make the car heavier without any benefit outside of aesthetics

lol... It looks great with 10.5-11" rears; it's already slow and heavy.

The rear hub is further under the car than the front hubs so to get them flushed up with the fender you need the wheels to be staggerd and wider in the rear... and from the rear the 10.5 just looks insanely thick and aggressive. It also really makes the rear of the car stick hard in a corner (once you get it's heavy ass up to speed)...

The car just doesn't look right unless lowered with aggressive fitment.

I totally agree with you. Lower it first then get rims. Lowering makes the TL look so much more aggressive.
