19's or 20's

I'm trying to decide if I should go with 19" or 20" rims. Is the look really that different? I just really don't want to compromise the ride as much, I currently have 17's. Does the ride feel that much different from 19 to 20's? Please help, I need advise!!! Also, on the offsets... I have no clue. Thanks in advance any help is much appreciated.

Ride won't be much different. You'll get a little better performance with the 19's.

stay away from 20 too big. car will be slow as shit. 19 look the best.
im going 18 inch soon, im tired of the performance being hendered.
18 will still look good with a drop.

I think your forgetting that this is a 4G not a 3G. While 20's are the max you can fit on a 3G, the 4G can easily fit 22's (Not that it would look good though) The fender arches are def. bigger on the 4G. Plus there is all that extra POWER. I think 20's are going to be the size of choice on the 4G. Especially quality light weight 20's.

There is no way you could compare cheap heavy 19's with light weight performance based 20's.

Thanks for all the help. The 21's look great but that ride must be hard as hell! So do you think 20"s is the way to go or 19"s? My cousin is telling me to go 10's for the width on the back wheel. Is this too much? I'm looking and liking the Snetterton chrome wheels by tsw. Any suggestions? These are the rims: http://tsw.com/alloy_wheels_snetterton.php
Thanks in advance for all your help!

Go with 20's. 19's look like 18inch wheels look like on the 3g. I still think they look too small. Do you have SHAWD? Then make sure that all 4 wheels are the same width.

If you have FWD you can do a staggered setup, with 10inch wide in the back. It's not something I would do, but it's a personal choice.

Choose your wheel by weight, not looks. Keeping performance in mind, the less un-sprung weight the better.

Man, good stuff! thanks! Why would you not do the staggered on the back wheel...weight?

The problem with that is you're going to pay 1-2k per wheel for forged lightweight 20's.

I take the opposite opinion. Pick wheels that you like the looks of. It's not like you're tracking the car. My 20's weigh a couple lbs more than my 18's but I don't really notice a difference. Now I don't recommend going out and getting 40lb chromies... but something that is plus/minus a few lbs from stock and you'll be fine.

https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=771791

Only 2.6 lb difference with wheels and tires mounted between my stock 18's with Winter tires and my 20's with summer tires.

Petec2010, your car is off the chain man! Very, very nice! Thanks for the info... I'm going with the 20's! Do you like the ride with the drop also?
