yellow lamin x on fog lights

Hello all, I am trying to install yellow Lamin X covers on my fog lights. I can figure out how to remove the front cover of the fog light housing or if I should try and remove it from the back. All the post that I see is for 2012 and up. It looks a bit different for the 2009. I have a 2009. Could someone point me in the right direction on the easiest way to put the Lamin X covers on? Thanks

when installing lamix film protector or covers can you be a little more specific. If you are referring to the film that lays over the fogs all you have to do is clean the fogs, with a little soap and water then apply the film over it with the instruction tha come in the package. Do not worry about bubbles over time the heat from the fogs will cure that and adequately put the film evenly in place removing the bubbles.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I have a 2009 tl sh-awd and I'm trying to figure out how to remove fog light itself or the front fog light cover to have access to put the lamin x yellow film on. Seems like the only way to have access is to remove the front bumper?

Before you remove the bumper, you should know that the film that comes from Lamin-x is an oval, roughly the shape of the opening in the bumper. The fog light assembly is a different shape. In other words, the film (unless you bought a sheet of it) will not cover the whole fog, so make sure you mark the lens before removing the bumper so that you know where to put the film. Or you can try and put it on without removing anything. Good luck either way.

The film should cover pretty much the entire lens. I know mine did. It's easier to just remove the housing from the bumper. If you don't know how to remove the bumper, you can remove the front portion of the fender liner to gain access to the housing. Just unplug the harness from the light and there's a few screws that hold it into the bumper.

There is no need to remove the bumper. The lamin-x can be roundish to cover what is 'exposed'.

You don't need to remove the bumper but you should remove/drop the fender lining to remove the foglight.

Thanks for the responses, I ordered my lip kit on friday so I'm going to wait till it comes in to put the foglight covers on while the bumper is off.
