Hi guys, doing some research. I understand that the 09-15 Acura TSX (CU2) uses the frame structures of the Honda Accord (CP2), front strut hats, front chassis frame, rear chassis frame, sway bars etc etc. My question is do anyone know if the 4th Gen Acura TL uses the Accords structure?

Suspension Performance Company (SPC) lists their rear camber and toe arm kits as 09-14 Acura TL, Acura TSX, Honda Accord.

I work for a company that does chassis frame reinforcement, we are trying to figure out these questions.

I have been trying to answer that question, or a similar one, myself. Not so much because of modifications but because of cheaper parts sources. Yes, I can get cheaper parts from Honda sources than from Acura sources. So, during my research I have found out that the models to look for TL chassis, brakes, engine etc stuff is either the first generation Honda Ridgeline or older Honda Pilot years. That being said, this is not 100% accurate. So, what I do is to look for the Acura part number at the usual Acura parts web sites and then google that specific part number and see if any Honda parts web sites show up in the google results list. Hope that approach works for you too.

PS. look at Acura parts sites for rear suspension multi-link components and google these part numbers, see if any Honda parts sites show up in the google results and then trace back to the Honda model, year.

According to KYB Parts, the Front Strut Mount from a 2008-2012 Honda Accord EX (Only) is the same as the 2008-2014 Acura TSX Sedan/Wagon. (KYB - SM5772 / SM5773)
The top hat changes slightly for the 4th Gen TL.
Rear strut mount top hat is the same for all platforms and fits 08-12 Accord, 09-14 TSX, 09-14 TL (KYB - SM5585)
Rear strut / shocks is the same for all platforms and fits the 13-15 Accord, 09-14 TSX, 09-14 TL (KYB - 340049 EXCEL-G SHOCK)

I think that the 09-14 Acura TL UA8 is on its own frame and platform.
