Wraparound warranty service
i recently purchased 2009 tl sh with 22000 miles. i also got the wrap warranty which i thought was from acura, but after i got my warranty card in mail i realized it wasn't.
wrap extended by non powertrain to 100k/7 years no deductible from fidelity through acura
does anyone have any idea how the warranty works with the wrap?
after the 5 years/62k miles are up and the wrap kicks in, does it work same way?
car is serviced at the dealer and they pick up the tab on the covered items?
are there separate claims to fill out?
any info would be appreciated
thanks

My experience at work here with aftermarket, non OEM extended warranties is that they can be a pain, depending on the company. Some companies wont cover any diagnostic charges....some will only cover up to a cetain hourly labor charge...some will insist on using cheaper aftermarket parts instead of OEM....etc. It all depends on the company; they're all a little different. Not sure if or what you paid for the warranty, but use it as much as possible. The extended warranty thing is a big $$ thing these days for them, and rarely works to your advantage at the end of the day, depending on what you paid for it. As far as paperwork goes, the dealer should take care of all that, as long as you give him whatever paperwork you have from the warranty company.
