vtec gasket??

vtec gasket??

i have been searching for the oil filter housing torque spec, been going around sites, couldnt even find it on the haynes manual.

this is one thing i def do not want to over torque and break the bolt/s

any help would be great

Attached is the torque for 09-10. I looked in my 2012 manual and it's the same. This is an oring seal. Unless you strip/break the bolt(s) or pinch the oring during assembly, I don't it's a torque sensitive joint. The bolts are clamping metal-to-metal.

Go with a 1/4 ratchet and go tight that way.
