I have a 2012 TL AWD w/Tech 3 months old. Lately I have noticed that on my trip computer screen with avg fuel economy and trip odometer that it automatically resets. Once when it did this my radio showed that my iPod is unsupported. Anyone else having this problem?

 

I've had issues with the iPod resetting or seemingly hanging up after the car is powered off. I have seen the "unsupported" message twice. Resetting the iPod fixes it. There is definitely something about the '12 interface that causes an issue with the iPod once in a while. I don't look at the trip computer functions enough to know if they are resetting or not, but the next time I have the iPod issue I'll check.

 

I took it into the dealership and they were able to duplicate it twice. They said its the first time they have seen this. They reset the computer and said if it happens again they will have to swap it out. We will see if the reboot worked.

 

WREK- do the A & B trip computer counter reset? If it is only A, was it right after a fill up? It doesn't sound like it from your message but thought I would ask. There is a setting to automatically reset the A trip after a fill up.

 

Never after a fill up. And yes I know about that feature. The service mgr was at a loss why my car was doing this.
