So Ive had this car since May and randomly today I got out of the car while it was on an immediately started hearing this ticking. No idea if its normal or not but doesn't sound like it. I also just heard it today but I guess that could be because I don't get out of my car while its on often. Its a 2012 advance awd.

I had a clogged transmission filter and in efforts on trying to figure out the issue, they replaced the tensioner and another belt that I forget a couple months ago.

It sounds like the fuel injector and it's normal from my understanding, but I'm not 100% sure. Mine seems to make a similar sound.

 

Anyone else chime in on whether or not this is a problem?

 

There are two sounds in the clips. One in the background is the injectors and valves ticking lightly. The other, that is worrisome is in the foreground that sounds like a pulley is banging something real hard. Can you lift the hood, remove the covers and pin-point the exact location of the loud foreground diesel-like sound?
