Tans Performance after Fluid Change

Tans Performance after Fluid Change
Hi all,
A few weeks ago I had the dealer replace the trans fluid as the existing fluid was getting pretty dark. I noticed the trans (5sp auto) shifted more smoothly the the following couple weeks. However, this week it's feeling as bad or worse than before. Why the sudden change in behavior? This trans is really driving me crazy, especially between 0 and 20mph. And every time I accelerate onto an incline it bogs down.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks!!

Did you change the trans filter. I think all Honda/Acura post 2003 V6 trans have one. Some can and some can't be changed without removing the trans. Do a Google search and you'll find info about this. My mechanic friend told me that new fluid has some detergents in it that cleans the crud that the old fluid couldn't anymore. He also said if you have issues a short time after a fluid change the filter might be clogged. It's just might be one item to check per his advice.

I believe trans filter is internal. Trans does not have a traditional pan nor any access like older model automatics. That is, not a maintenance item.

Although Acura does not consider it a maintenance item 2000+ trans have an external filter. Some years (07-11 I think) are behind the torque converter and are inaccessible.

There's lots of info if you search the web.

The video relates to a 2000 TL.
Again, I was told that the filter on my car (2010 5AT) is internal, meaning "inside the transmission". To change it, that trans has to be dismantled. Is that right of wrong?

After some research I found you have to "drop" the transmission to change it. Technically its external but inaccessible nonetheless. It's behind the torque converter. This applies to 2007-2011 TL's from what I could find.
Filter part number = 25450-P4V-013
