Specific oils to slow consumption of SH-AWD

Has anyone found a particular brand or weight which slows consumption? I've only changed oil at the dealership until the warranty was up, so I've only used the factor 5w-20 semi-syn. I am considering dropping in a 0w-30 synthetic, or maybe 5w-20 mobile 1 High Mileage or something similar, and measuring consumption with it, but wanted to ping the community and see if anyone has had luck with specific brands or weights.

Use 5w40 and then consumption decreases. But the disease must be treated and not anesthetized.

Have you opened a case with Honda of America to see if they'll cover replacement of the pistons?

Acura 4G TL uses a "Syn-Blend". I would go FULL Synthetic so any 5w-20 should do. When I had the "Oil Consumption" test, they took out the Synthetic and used Syn-Blend.

I heard changing your oil early and often will do more than any brand or weight. It tends to burn more the more miles on the oil so don't go too long between oil changes.

I have a 3.5 FWD now but with my old 3.7 AWD Pennzoil ultra platinum helped the most, I learned about Pennzoil from reading other posts

Second the notion of changing oil at 5K miles. Consumption increases as you get past 4-5K miles on an oil change cycle.
