Sound, can't pinpoint where

I hope some of you on here have found this sound, It's driving me crazy! Over certain bumps or imperfections on the road, I hear a pop, or crack coming from somewhere in the back. Sounds to be in the deck area, I pressed back there, everything seems fine. Doesn't sound like the seat area, it's def back in the deck area. I also pressed on the brake light, still nothing. Any suggestions??? Thanks so much!!

After having had my rear window scratched by the dealership (had to be replaced) while trying to find and fix this problem I suggest you tackle this one on your own.
My suggestion:
Remove lining under rear deck and passenger side trunk lining.
Lube the spot welds yourself and buy some foam self adhesive weatherstripping for plastic contact areas. I went as far as to ride in trunk to try and isolate. Currently noise is gone again Waiting for summer temps as others have reported noise worse in warm weather.

Noises, Squeaks, Etc are very hard to issolate.
You can think there but its really there.
Use a Stethoscope when some else drives or
use womens light days pads to damper.
New and clean is advised.
You can cram thousands of those pads anywhere
you think its coming from and leave them there.
I have done this with several cars/trucks.
My wife says I use more pads than she does !!

I had an odd noise coming from the rear of my car also. On some roads it sounded like sort of a pop/rattle. Not that loud, but enough to be a pain. The problem turned out to be something I would have never guessed. The licence plate! I put a foam strip behind it, and the sound has never returned. Not sure if that could be your problem, but you might check it out.

Thanks, I appreciate your help, It's not the plate, I wish!. I do not think mine is this video, tapping everyone is talking about. Mine seems to be a pop or slight rattle. I had some sound deadening material put around my sub/deck for the rattle, maybe that stopped that. Bad thing is, it didn't totally stop my sub rattle.
