So it's been like this for about a week now. Everyday for the last week my car has been having trouble starting up. I figured it's just because it was cold and the car needed to warm up but i try to start my car today and it didn't start. I didn't expect this so early on in my car's life but i've heard that Acura's batteries are notoriously weak. Should i even bother taking it to Acura and having it replaced or should i just buy a better aftermarket battery?

 

Get a jump and drive it over to Acura and get a new Battery. They can keep replacing them for 4yr/50,000 miles IMHO.

 

I've had 5 Acuras, 4 TLs.... Every TL, the OEM battery BLOWS. after a week of sitting still, the car sometimes doesnt start

the dealership will keep replacing it, but it will keep sucking.

unless you live in sub-zero temps, i dont see the need for an aftermarket... if you do, go Optima or Interstate

 

^ Do you know the specs of the battery by Optima or Interstate that you recommend for a 09 TL tech with a battery problem. Thanks
