Probably a bit picky but it bothers me every time I get in the car.

There's a small tear on the leather steering wheel (see photo), its maybe less than a quarter inch in length. Any idea or recommendations on how I can fix, patch or make it look less conspicuous?

I was hoping for some kind of black pen that I can layer multiple times to build up thickness. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

 

I don't know of anything like that, but black silicone seal or clear silicone window sealer, will probably keep it from spreading - I prefer GE or Permatex brands. But sadly, cannot think of anything that will actually *hide* the spot. Clean with alcohol or denatured alcohol before applying.

My dealer put a gouge in the leather on my wheel and they called in some company that travels around the dealerships - I think it was called Mr. Vinyl - and they were able to do something that filled it in.
