hi
Changing pressure switch didn't help much.
Fresh ATF fluid helps a little bit. I haven't tried Redline ATF racing yet.
But Acupower confirmed that, the shifting will be more precise so that a plus.
Hope that helps.

Thanks Cooldude01. Yes it did help a bit when the ATF fluid was new but after a few thousand miles, it was back to the same. I have read good things about both amsoil and redline. Man I just want to get this sorted out. I am willing to try anything...

I bought a 2012 TL last week and have enjoyed it for my first week but when I took a test drive of it and I noticed this same behavior when coasting or slowing down the car that it felt like the brakes were being applied. The salesman swayed me to believe this was normal because the transmission is very advanced and is done to top gas mileage. Should I take it to Acura? I still have a year bumper to bumper warranty.
2011 SH-AWD, does the same exact thing when decelerating/coasting, except it usually does it as soon as I press the accelerator again. It causes my upper body to lunge forward. So irritating. I've had the TC update and am have tried Redline ATF and DW1.

Man so its a No Go for the Redline ATF? I am still going to try and see if it makes any difference. I also have a 2003 Corolla with 270k miles and that thing still shifts like a new car. But did the 2011 not come with a bad TC from factory and it had to be replaced, right? I thought Acura would have fixed the issues with the TC when the 2014s were out.

How much did that cost? My '06 TL was shooting that code and has been downshifting funny when I am trying to slow down while going down a hill. My dad and his mechanic friend thought the code was just because of a short in the circuit (we bought it used and it had a lot of wiring problems).
I know the catalytic converter (dont remember which one) needs replacing, but when I took it most recently to the shop for an alternator replacement, the mechanic never mentioned the transmission code, but did mention the catalytic converter code.
