Rear Defroster Very Slow
Just bought a 2012 SH-AWD Elite and been testing the car everywhere and it seems the rear defroster is really slow. Is this a normal thing or should i take it to the dealer to get checked out? Takes a good 10-15 min to actually start defrosting I think.
A nice benefit of heated mirrors, turn it on when raining and the droplets will evaporate. I have a factory remote starter and never noticed the rear defogger slowness as the car has been warmed up for 10-15 minutes during winter months.

I'll add my complaints to the list here. Some more cold weather testing before releasing cars is a must. I am not talking about the stupid simulations they do in fridges, but real cold weather testing, like taking the cars up in Canada for a winter or two and seeing why they are so crappy in sub-zero temperatures.
My buddie's Ford Taurus heater immediately warmed up the car by blowing hot air, outside temp -14oC, as soon as he started the engine. At that temperature the TL takes about 10 minutes at idle to start pumping out hot air.
PS. If you are a '09 or '10, Acura asks all dealerships to check the battery if and when the car comes in for whatever maintenance item there is. Chances are if you are an '09 or '10 you'll need a new battery.
