Random hyperflashing
The last two days, during my morning commute, I've noticed hyperflashing (on the dash indicator) when using my left signal. I realize that (in the absence of a mod), the hyperflash is sometimes a signal that the light is out (though in my previous cars, it's always been a solid indicator), but bith yesterday and today, it went away. Yesterday it only happened once, but by the time I was in my parkade, it, and all the external flashers, were working fine. Thought maybe I imagined it. But today it was doing the same thing for about 5 minutes, but again, went away.
Anyone ever see this? My headlghts and signals are stock (replaced the HID bulbs a year ago), and my only other mods are led puddles, trunk, plate and vanity lights...but those swaps are over a year old.

Chances are a bulb is on its way out or the turn signal relay is fritzing out. I'd physical check each of the bulbs (front and rear).

Yep, bulbs! Happened to me on my Accord years ago.
Changed them, problem solved.

The lamp filament is dangling on the terminals inside the bulb, that's why the fault is intermittent.
Very soon, the filament will permanently burn out for good.

Looks like the responses here were right; the front driver signal is now a constant weak hyperflash when activated. I'm tempted to swap them out for switchbacks, but I'll have to research how much work that is.
According to the service manual, the way to take out the light to replace the bulb is to first remove the splash guard, and to do that (again, according to the manual), I have to first remove both wheels. Is that true? Anyone else got a better way?

I think removing the entire inner fender splash shield is a bit of an overkill.
If you turn the wheel (say the left) all the way to the left, there is enough space to work with. Remove the bolt underneath and enough clips under the shield and you can have access of the rear of the front driver signal. Of course its not the most convenient way to do this and careful not to hurt yourself.

Switchback LED's aren't hard to install at all, you'll just have to worry about actual hyperflashing due to the bulb now being an LED. I'm not sure for the 4G but 3G members, we did a simple turn signal relay mod that fixed the hyperflashing. I've done it for a few members and it works perfectly. Look into that rather than installing load resistors at the turn signals themselves.
