Hey guys,
The door locks on a 2009 TL AWD w/Tech Pack is having a problem locking the doors. The remote does not unlock the doors neither does it lock them. The car recognizes the key and in my pocket and starts the car but it thinks I'm driver #2. The keyless access system is turned on in the glove box. I have both keys in my pocket. When I push the button on the outside of the drivers door handle the car beeps and does not lock. The trunk opens and closes fine, so there is no key in the trunk. Any help would be very appreciated.

 

I think you need to goto the dealer.

 

If the door tries to lock (makes a sound) then it may be the door lock actuator. Which is a common problem in every Honda I have ever owned.Does the passenger side door open when you have either key in your pocket? If that's not it your keys may need reprogramed. Try unhooking battery from car waiting 10 sec and reconnecting. Remove the battery from the key fob. It may be confused having 2 keys in your pocket at the same time. Maybe valet switch is on....
