Possible to check transmission mounts without car on a lift?
I know my motor mounts are bad, but I'm trying to figure out if I also need to replace the transmission mounts.
Is it possible to visually inspect the transmission mounts without putting the car on a lift?
Thanks in advance!

Sure can
Actually just did my mounts on 2010 TL yesterday. The plan was to do the front engine mount then I endup changing all mounts except for the rear firewall mount. That one seems tough as the front mount was.
You don’t need a lift. Just a good jack and 1 or 2 stands.
Upper transmission mount is under Air intake box. Remove 1 nut, unplug MAF and other wiring then take away the box you’ll see the mount.
Lower Trans Mount way under car bottom of transmission sitting on the frame of the car. It’s very small. If you don’t know what ur looking for u won’t notice it. Go ahead and remove the driver side wheel n look on the frame of the car you’ll see a small mount.
