Hi AcuraZine members
My 4G TL rear outer pass door handle just broke. I have searched on AcuraZine forum but there is no DIY or any TBS in regard to this issue. My searched on this forum only came up with 3G TL DIY.
this is a common issue on the 3G but I'm not sure if any members here have the same issue with their 4G.
Please help me with any instructions or links of how to remove the outer door handle.
Also, please help me identify the part that broke(maybe the door handle extensioner is the broken part)? Where can I get the part and the part number?
I have attached a photo of the broken handle to this post.

dude if your under warranty just bring it back to dealer..

also how the hell did you do that? did someone break it or it just broke on its own..

My car is outta warranty already but my TL is a CPO
idk if they will cover that

 

did it just one day broke off? or did someone tug on that shit really hard?..

i would only think you would take off door panel, look at it and buy the parts.

cover up the hole with painters tape till you get the part or have it out of commission for 3-5 days while it comes in

3 days ago I opened that door and the door handle got stuck and it didn't retreat to the normal position.

 

^^... so you forced it? and it broke???!
