So everything had been working fine until a few days ago where I no longer get a beep when I lock the doors by pressing the button on the door handle outside the car. Has this happened to anyone else before? It does still beep though when I press the button to unlock the doors. I checked all of the settings and can't figure out what could have gone wrong.

 

Check your hud settings, p97 118 owners manual, is it still listed as on??

 

I had this problem when I first got the car - sometimes it means that it thinks a door or trunk/hood is still open. Mine turned out to be the hood as the sensors crap out over time. I disconnected the hood sensor and it went back to working

 

I figured out why my car doesn't beep when lockimg the doors, it's because my rear passenger door was stuck in the unlocked position. I guess the activator needs to be replaced. Thanks guys!
