New Osram D2S HID bulbs

My 2013 TL 3.5L now has 101,000 miles and the original OEM bulbs seemed to narrow the light throw the last few years or at least I perceived this. last week started shopping for a new set and selected the Osram Cool Blue Intense Next Gen bulbs as the replacements.

First things, I had to remove the front bumper to replace the bulbs, this was a little ridiculous but it needed to get done. Total install took about 90-120 minutes.

The first photo are the original OEM HID’s, which are 10 years old now. They still performed well and it’s important to note I only drive a few hours a month at night, so not much.

The second photo is the new Osram HID’s notice how the light is wider on my garage.

Third photo is of the HID’s if anyone wants a photo of the product packaging.

I was contemplating taking off the bumper on my 4G as well. After doing it once on my 3G, it's all muscle memory and can be done in 10 mins each side by popping off a few clips and bolts for the wheel liner, and accessing through there. I don't have the smallest hands either.
