I presently own a 2009 Acura TL with 202,000 miles, This car has gone thru 3 timing belts, a whole replacement of the dash board for the VSA system. So in short lots of problems from day one with this car. So my newest problem is that I was driving approx 85 miles an hour on 95 south. All the sudden I heard a loud pop and then VSA lights flash car dies. Was able to pull the car off onto the emergency exit lane. Then was able to play frogger and retrieve the bolt that broke off that caused all the problems. This is the second time this bolt has broken, its from the bottom part of the engine on the passengers side. It breaks in the same place both times. has anyone else had this happen and do you know of a way to fix this so it does not happen again. My mechanic has found a used engine and it is being dropped in my car now. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you need a new mechanic.

did it break off or pop off? I have a feeling your mechanic didn't get that bolt threaded on properly if you were able to retrieve the entire bolt.
