ok so today i was driving home and when i got close to my house i stopped at a stop sign and when i went to accelerate (normally) my car sort of sputtered for a second then finally accelerated as normal, it did this a few more times until i got home. i put the car in neutral and hit the gas and it did the same thing the rpms didnt go up smoothly and the car sort of shook. any idea what it could be...no CEL came on and i have a 2010 AWD 3.7 with about 33K on it. it was also very humid today in chicago if that is a factor? thanks guys

I would say gasoline quality, but it may be other reasons like a clogged air filter etc. Try filling up at a high volume gas station with some high octanes and see if that fixes anything.

 

I had a Lincoln LS that did the exact thing just before the fuel pump went out.

 

so i went out an bought a new air filter put it in and the problem stopped
