What's the name of that part that resides between the hood and the headlight? My neighbor is paying for the damage. Please help.

Wow, hope your car is ok. Can you post pics but I think it's still the hood. 2 things females are not good at handling are cars and ladders.

You know that piece between the taillights and the headlights. The metal one, with the paint on it.

Call the insurance co and let them sort it out, if you get into the "i'll pay for it" you will be sorry.

Tried looking it up and can't find it on it's own. All the online places show that it is part of the fender. Kind of stupid but hope I'm wrong. Take a pic and go to dealer and ask.

If the neighbor is paying for it, I wont call insurance....calling insurance and cops will end up putting a dent in your carfax and hence the value of the car if you plan to resell....

and since you said that the neighbor will pay for it, what do you want us to help you with? just curious

if you mean the "eyelid" looking piece right above the headlight on each side. it's actually a part of the fenders, but they made it look like it was a separate piece.
