Moonroof wind deflector removal

My 2012 Base has an issue with the moonroof. I opened it for the first time in quite a while and the weather stripping that rides underneath the plastic wind deflector that pops up came loose. This is not the piece that sits on the roof in front of the moonroof, but the part the moves up and down as you open/close the roof. I've tried to push it back into the channel but I'm not confident that it will stay there. I'd like to remove the plastic wind deflector and add some additional adhesive to keep it from popping out again. I'm having a hard time finding any guidance online. It doesn't look very difficult but I haven't attempted it yet. Any guidance on how to remove it without breaking anything?

I just noticed mine as well. It looks like a windshield wiper part. Mine just came off. I'm sure we can just glue it back in there. Clean the rubber strip get some adhesive such as crazy glue put back in place

You're spot on. That was my plan. For now I've managed to get it to stay in place by just pushing it back into it's slot with the sunroof open. I'm very nervous trying to remove that part as the spring connector seems quite small and potentially very breakable. Been about 3 weeks with no issues with light use of the sunroof.
