Moon roof rattle...

is there a fix for this problem yet...it rattles when in the tilt mode, and also when closed, i dont here it too much with the sunshade closed as that seems to insulate the noise...it also doenst rattle when the roof is all the way open...

my 07 rattle while in tilt, but the fix was easy, some ept tape in the tray where the front of the roof tilted into...

this one rattles from the track, and if you put you finger on the plastic part that is the tilt, and push, you can replicate the noise...

Just to clarify, was it just your sun visor that was swinging in the wind or did your moon roof come off? I read through the thread and it's not clear if it's one or both. You have been through hell and back with this issue is it resolved finally? What a nightmare.

My roof seems to whistle when in tilt position. It doesn't rattle but it's really loud. I'm always hesitant to take a car in for service for something like this out of fear that they could make a small problem worse.

After three visits and a lot of bitching they finally got it fixed... It was only the passenger side visor that fell out the first day after the initial visit... I am just glad it was not the drivers side becuase it may haved caused me to have or cause a accident...

Well I hope that you get yours fixed... Good luck...
