Anyone ever get a whine during startup. Mine is starting to do it more and more but only after several house of sitting. Whine last for less than 2 sec then it is gone. When I say whine I’m not talking the screech from a 72 Buick that needs a starter. It is a lower tone than that and doesn’t last as long. It only does it when the car is cold. Any ideas?

 

I have the same issue and so does my neighbors Honda. It's the starter, but other than the noise it is a non issue. My dealer says he has to hear it before he will change the starter. That means leaving the car overnight. I just live with it til the 5g comes out.
