You'll need to bake the headlights in the oven to open them up, install the strips... then wire them... the DRL uses very lower power consumption, so the LEDs may not light up 100% on the DRL feed

maybe independent switch, or power then from the parking lights IMO

I got my LED's hooked up to the iginition, so they are on when I turn the car on, and I just pulled the fuse for the DRL's to turn off the factory ones. I also added another fuse to the wiring to the iginition for the LED's, just to be safe.

Fusion, I've done this mod-it's awesome. You do need to open up the headlights (by baking them for 20 minutes at 200 degrees). I wired them so they are always on (with the DRL's and headlights). There is a green wire against the firewall that goes to the windshield wipers that is "hot", which allows you to have the LED strips on all the time. If you want to see my headlights, look at my Garage to see the details. PM me if you have any questions-I'd be glad to help you.

If you need help with installing them, I do custom headlight work.

other then that, I would hook them up to a separate switch so you can turn them off or on at any point.
