Leather bubbles?

Has anyone else had this problem? Before I purchased my TL, I had a TSX and the same thing happened. This is happening on the drivers door.

My rear center headrest looks like your middle picture. The interesting part is I have the Acura rear seat cover and it covers those headrests since day 1 of ownership. And just recently during a trip to have car detailed, upon removing the cover to get the seats conditioned I saw that and was livid.

But I guess since the covers are on its not gonna matter. Just pissed that I saw it. Car has less than 13k miles (2010) and a place thats always protected is bubbling.

if you are under warranty.. get it fixed by dealer.. that is all i can say.

you "can" fix it.. but it would be better to just go to dealer.. instead of sheading out money that you shouldnt. dealer repairs are free under warranty

Hell, not that hot. We have had some upper 90's weather here but the same thing happened when I had my TSX. I think I need to get my windows tinted and start doing some leather treatments

So is that really leather on the TL door panels? I just assumed it was vinyl.

Well my windows are tinted all around, and like I said middle rear headrest (which is supposed to be leather like the rest of the seats) is doing the exact same thing as in the middle picture by the OP.

It is under warranty still so perhaps I'll take it in, I'm sure the dealer will claim some negligence to get out of it. But we'll see next visit. As mentioned I'm tinted 35% all around, I use sunshade in front windows, and this happened in the rear seat headrest that has had the seat covers on since day 1 of ownership too so direct sunlight can't be the reason. Also have my seats conditioned at least once-twice a year. But I live in TX so it definitely gets hot here, but I would expect to see other parts of the car leather showing this signs as well.
