Just picked up a 2010 SHAWD TL non-tech last night. This is the 4th Acura in our family (RDX,MDX TL-S) and certainly the most impressive. Ive spent the better part of 4 hours getting acquainted with the car and the features. I am puzzled by one issue. I have an iPhone 3g (non S) and when I plug it in to the USB is says incompatible device. I've tried it 3 times and no success. Anyone else experience this?

 

same thing here...I've got the tech package and my iphone isn't compatible with the usb. Compatible only with the itouch on down. I just use the bluetooth audio option.

 

It's totally compatible, the error message is a pretty normal occurrence, I dont get it all the time I plug it in...just say "no" when it asks you to put it in airplane mode and it'll work fine....if no audio comes out, goto the ipod app and theres a bluetooth icon on the bottom, tap it and select "dock connector"

 

I have an iPhone 3G which I connect to the USB port.
Just ignore the warning message and click No to the airplane mode question.

 

Thanks. I called Acura tech support and even they were puzzled by the message. Eventually I hit 'no" as you suggested and then hit Aux again and it connected. I now am 100% satisfied with one of the greatest cars I've ever owned.
