HELP! RADIO STOP WORKING AFTER USING 12V Cigarette Lighter
2010 acura tl.
Okay hopefully you guys can help me out.
So after using the 12v cigarette lighter to pump up my inflatable raft, my radio stop working. There is power on the dashboard, the time etc., is visible, but the radio does not turn on.
Could it be the fuse? I went through the manual and cant find the right fuse to the radio. Only thing came close was the accessory fuse, which i did check and was not blown.

This link may help you as it appears to have a link for the service manual in it. This may be overkill, but I was looking for a .PDF copy of your owner's manual and came up with this. Look at post #21

If you have a relationship with one of the SA at your dealership and/or you are a regular/routine customer, they may goodwill the repair. 10 days isn't all that much past the expiration - especially if your mileage is low. Might be worth a shot
But as you have mentioned above, guessing it might be something as simple as a fuse.
Does the cigarette lighter still work? Suppose it's possible but wouldn't think the radio would stop if the lighter was still working.

Im not a regular customer at my local acura dealership, so i dont think that would work. It may be a fuse, but i cant locate which one. I checked all 3 fuse box locations and nothing seems to point the right direction for radio. And the 12v cig does work, so that makes it even weirder.

Well maybe one of your fellow 4G owners can step in and offer some other advice. As a 3G owner - not sure there is much more I can do for you. Perhaps start pulling and inspecting the fuses one by one
