Headlights

I got into an accident this winter and a friend fixed my car. They thought they were hooking me up and painted my headlights black. It looks cool during the day. But I hate how it looks at night. It looks like I have old crappy headlights. And it's hard to see at night. Is there any shot I can just get the lense and not the entire Housing? I don't want o spend 700 min buying new ones. An didn't want to shove it down my friends throaght.

Please help

I don't think the lens is available by its self. But you may be able to sand it down using really fine sand paper. I'm sure the process would be very similar to headlight restoration.

I tried it on a small. Corner of one of the lights. Didn't even dent it, you can tell it took out afoot amount of plastic but the paint didn't even get lighter
