I've noticed the my new 11 Tech, with less than 700 miles, has some hard downshifts. This does not happen all the time, but when it does, its noticeable. This may simply be a quirk of the car. Has anyone experienced this?

 

Are you talking about when you are slowing down from speed and braking? The shift logic control downshifts as you are decelerating. My past 2006 and current TL both experience a bump when slowing while braking as the car decelerates and downshifts. Sometimes it seems as though it catches the tranny off guard and the downshift is a little abrupt at slower speeds. The system works well going down a long hill, helping you from having to ride the brakes, but there are times when it is not necessary like exiting the highway.
