Front bumper Replace

I was driving Yosemite and on the downhill, my car slipped little bit and hit a piled snow and this happened.

If I want to get the part to replace the bumper which part do I need?

Do I just need the front bumper face or is there something else I need?

I need you guys help so I don't overpay to fix it. It is 2012 TL AWD Tech

It was amazing to drive the uphill with the AWD handling without the snow chain. I just drove too fast on the downhill.

Thank you in advance.

Looks like you need to replace front bumper, right fender splash shield, and possibly the center splash shield.

Look underneath to see if center splash shield is still there or damaged.

The bumper isn't too bad to install there are lots of DIY guides out there. As far as I know they don't sell painted bumper covers, so you will have to find someone to paint the bumper cover for you. $700-$1000 for parts and labor is a pretty average price for this from what I've run in to.

Like Skora89 mentioned, bumpers do not come painted.
- bumper $263
- paint and labor ~$250

that's roughly $500-600 already...

in this pic, it looks like windshield washer fluid reservoir has been pushed back slightly and ripped the mounting point....

not a really big deal, BUTT be sure to check other components and make sure they are still in factory spot

if you are still driving it i would reattach the wiper fluid reservoir or remove it until getting the car fixed so that motion does not drag it off prevent more cost

You can buy a used bumper from a TL 2012-2014. It'll match the car since it's factory paint and aged. You can also get the fender inner liner. Put in your zip code and sort by distance or it's already sorted by price. You might have to call a few places but you'll save a ton of money.

I dont think it's going any where. I just pointed it out to let the OP know that OTHER components MIGHT be out of whack....
more important components that might impede driving.

the reservoir is not going any where as its bolted along the neck...

Good point, but I think the reservoir is dead too. The mounting bracket is ripped through.

if insurance was taking care of it, get OEM! but if you are taking care of it, out of pocket, go for the aftermarket bumper to save you some mula.

for the 2004-2008 TL bumpers, there was a physical difference between OEM and aftermarket...the OEM had the word ACURA engraved across the front of the bumper, the aftermarket one did not...

I am paying out of pocket...
Is there any difference in the safety? like the OEM bumper is much safer than the aftermarket when it comes to an front end accident.

you can buy an OEM pre-painted from ebay or car-part.com for $250. Aftermarket bumper + paint is going to be $400.

Save yourself some money and go with used parts from other cars.
