Engine fan when AC is on help:

Hi all,

So I started to notice that when running the AC, then engine fan will go on and off for about 10-15 seconds constantly. I do not remember this happening last summer, but I could be wrong. Any thoughts on this being normal or not?

I've noticed other Honda cars doing it as well.

Wait... so the airplane taking off sound is normal??? When I first bought it must have been in love with it or something but I didn't notice the sound. Until one day I ran into bestbuy to pick up so,e merchandise and left my wife in the car with the ac oñ for about 20 mins. When I returned I immediately heard it super loud inside. I was even concerned that she had moved something

ever since then no matteif I'm driving on the highway or even listening to music moderately, I hear the ds,n airplane sound and it's awfuk

i have a 2012 tsx and a 2010 accord, neither of them sound this bad... it's embarrassing to say the least

ive contemplated on selling the car because of this...

im hoping there's a software update fix or something

Normal, but I agree, irritating. Mine turns on for 12 seconds, off for 7, etc, constantly (or vice versa). Not as irritating as not being able to revert to sport mode after entering manual mode with the paddle shifters without moving the gear selector to D and back to S though!
