Easy way to remove navigation screen?

Title pretty much sums it up. I have some goop behind the cover that protects my navigation screen. I feel like I can probably pry it out with my fingers, but don't want to damage the part.

Does anyone have an easy or straightforward method for removing this part?

Gallowglass, I'm not sure what you are talking about with the "goop behind the cover" but I found a YOUTUBE video where a guy is replacing his screen. Looks like all you have to do is remove the two center air vents (snap out) and remove 3 fasteners to get the nav screen out. After watching I think I could even do it.

Google search "2009 Acura TL navigation screen replacement" the the link to the Youtube video should come up. Good luck.

By goop I mean some type of liquid that has now dried, leaving a residue. I will definitely look into that video. I didn't realize that it was the same process across different model years! Thanks!

The 09 is the first year of the 4G TL model. In the video, the console, vents and screen are identical to my 2012 TL with Nav.
