Driving position memory setting problem

With my 09 AWD on or on accessory or On position 2, the lights on the memory position are off. If I move my drivers seat back manually, is it not suppose to go back to the place I memorized prevously by pushing the unlock/lock button on the remote? Seems like the memory buttons are DEAD. If I remember correctly, the light on button #1 is always lit when Im driving it. I have the #1 remote.
Anyone else have this problem? If so, what was the resolution?
thanks all.

On my '10 AWD no tech, you set the memory by positioning the seat and then pushing the bottom button on the door, and then the 1 or 2 button on the door. Pushing the keyfob does not set the memory.

Also, what I have done is set 1 to push the seat all the way back when I hit unlock on the keygob. Then I hit the 2 button on the door to move the seat to my driving position, which has been memorized for 2. I carry the 1 keyfob. This will only be practical if driver 2 does not use the car much.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it worked before. Im settting it by owner's manual direction and getting nothing. When you look at your buttons, don't they light up? Mine do not. If I remember right, when it was set, the #1 LED light would illuminate when Im driving. Now there is no light. When I manually moved my chair back, all I had to do was puch #1 and it would move back to the original setting, or if I use the key fob to unlock, the seat would move back. Now it does nothing. The seat stayed and I had to manually set the seat back.

I think you have a problem and need dealer service.

Right now I have a ZDX (base) as a loaner, so I've been playing around with the memory settings trying to get comfortable and such. I noticed that the memory buttons are not functional until you turn the key to one position down from Start, so basically, everything is on except the engine. Then the lights came on and I was able to set the memory again.

Also, I haven't checked any of this in the manual, but back when I had a CL, you could turn the memory linking on and off at the fob by pressing two of the buttons (I think) at the same time. Maybe the TL has something similar so you can link/unlink the fob?
