Drivers ebony seat cushion white dot specks?

Drivers ebony seat cushion white dot specks?
On my 06 black on black TL drivers seat cushion have white dot specks on seat. What could cause this to happen is it paint or the tiny holes in the cushion coming apart spliting, wear and tear?
How do i fix it do i buy new cushion for $500 is it easy to replace?
Looks as if someone had a paint brush and waved it and sprayed white paint on the drivers side center cushion?
