Just recently my door handle has started "messing" up.

I don't know if its the door handle or the lock inside but every time I try to open the door(driver side) it gets jammed(or acts as if its locked) the first time then the second pull it opens...

Does anybody have the same issue?...

 

i've found if i try to open the door too fast, meaning i put my hand in the handle and try to open it before it beeps at me to tell me its unlocked, that i have to pull on it twice, try waiting a second or two after it beeps. Maybe you are just to quick.

 

I've noticed on both 4G TLs I have had that the driver door handle is 'tight' or hard(er?) to pull at times. This is after it has beeped if it was locked - happens sometime when it isn't locked. I had asked the dealer about it on my first car. Of course it wouldn't do it when it was there - they said they lubed it and checked it out, but nothing was wrong. When I started noticing it on my second one I figure it must be a common thing?
It's not like it won't open, or that something is broken... it almost like the door shut too tight, but I have verified it does it when the door was shut gently?

 

my driver door does the same thing,like the handle pulls out then it kinda pops out ,then sometimes it pulls smooth

 

Hmm...interesting. If enough people come forward with this issue, maybe Acura will post a TSB about it?

 

I usually have to pull it twice not because I am too quick but I am just too damn cold

 

I did notice that it used to unlock faster when I put my hand inside the handle (even with gloves). now 4 months after I bought it I have to 'wait' a little longer before pulling the handle or it won't open.
