Pull out the bulb...and cover one of the contacts with electric tape...After covering one of the contacts insert the bulb back in and try turning the signal. If it doesnt work then remove the tape and cover the other contact.

That's a good solution. I would worry that tape might get stuck in there forever. Of course, It would be the next owners problem.

The tape would just be small enough to cover the contact. I am pretty sure I will be the life owner...So I will get pissed off at myself if it does happen..HA!

Me too! I think I might do this when I replace those high beam DRLs and Fogs on both cars. Again, don't tell my wife. She'll hit me for screwing around with the car again.

You must have a bunch of bruises by now.

At first I was like why would you put Electric tape on the DRL's and Fogs...then I read again and you meant you will do the electric tape on the signal light when you change the other lights all at once...HA!

Maybe also change the amber bulb to Amber LED so its clear and you don't see the amber when its off. But make sure you get resistors so you don't get the Hyper blinking.

You might try liquid electrical tape, thick rubbery stuff you paint on with a brush. It might stay on the bulb contact better, just clean the contact well first.
