did something stupid!

okay, so I was just checking the air filter element and took off the box and what looks like some type of sensor. Looked good, so i put the box back on and left it. Hours later, I go to my car to go somewhere and tried to start it, STALLED OUT!! I was like, uhm. tried it one more time, same thing.

So, I recheck everything in the air filter to make sure I put everything back together (since thats what i was working on before the car stopped working) and found that i forgot to put the sensor clip back on. Started it up and started fine, but now has warning lights and sounds like NASA's command center.

It says that, Check SH-AWD, Hill Start, Emissions, and VSA. After clicking all the messages, I turned off the car and waited a little bit and restarted. Started up fine, but still have the Check Hill Start, Emissions, and VSA. SH-AWD signal turned off.

Now, is there a way to turn all of this off or do I need to bring it into a dealer? Thanks for the help!

Take it back to the stealer to clear the codes. That's what I'd do.

Sometimes pulling the battery cable off will clear the computer too.

Does the 4th gen have a clock backup fuse like the 2nd gen? If it does pull that for a min and see if it clears the codes, that way you wont have to reset anything from disconnecting the battery
