Dented
Just noticed a dent on the quarter panel. I'm not sure if I'm saying this correctly, but the dent is on the crease around the wheel well. Any good dent remover or should I go to a professional? My 2012 BWP w/Tech doesn't even have a plate yet and it's already dented.
I am anal to a T
Living in SoCal, it's very hard to avoid it. Many of the places here got really tight parking spots. On top of that, many of the Chinese Ladies are really careless. (doesn't want to sound racist, but I'm just telling the truth)
ive had my car for a year in socal, and i havent got a dent yet, let alone a scratch.
keep in mind that i drive my car everyday to an business facility with about 300+ cars in that lot.
one thing you have to do is dont be lazy, take the further parking spot, find a wide parking spot, and most importantly... do not park next to a shitty car.. (shity paint job, scratches, etc means shitty owner that doesnt give a shit if they dent your car)
park next to a nice clean car, those are the owners that are careful.

park next to a curb (and hug it) where the curb is on the right side of the vehicle (when pulling straight in), which lessens the chance of someone opening their door because most likey there will only be a driver.

I think you're gonna have trouble getting that out since it's on the crease. I believe those are harder than the ones on a flat spot. That sucks!
I'm dreading the day I get my first ding. I know it's bound to happen eventually even though I follow all of the tips mentioned above. There's a bonus about parking at the back of the lot...it's that much longer you get to look at your car while you're approaching it
One more tip, be wary of parking on slopes where cars are parked next to you. Good 'ol gravity can pull their door into your car if they take their hand off it. I used to deal with this all the time while parking at school.

As long as it's only a dent and not a scratch they may be able to get it out. My sister have a dent on her rear passenger side wheel well above the tire and the Dent Doctor was able to take it out no problem. Can't even tell. Good luck.
hitman, sorry about the dent, especially on such a new tl.
but no worries.my old tl (2005), i bought for cheap because it was full of hail damage dents.
i think the hood alone had like close to a hundred! i got the phone # for a
paintless dent removal guy from michigan. i got him to agree on a cash price
on the phone. he drove ten hours, had all dents out by 2:00 p.m. done deal, the tl looked great!.
dont know where your located, but you could give him a call.
Paul Buffa... all states hail repair. 1-866-811-8526.
