Cruise Control Problem

Hi I have 2009 Acura TL Tech Pkg. The Cluster Instrument had some lights off, so I decide to replace it with another one I get from a similar car, everything works except the cruise control. Engage but in a down hill or just a bit of inclination forward the cruise disengage. I try the old one back but the same thing. The old one was working fine except the lights of the screen. Any Idea?

Take out the good light bulbs from the newer cluster, and swap out the bad ones on your original cluster.

Then put the now-everything-good original cluster back on your car, and you'll have both working lights and working cruise control.

Makes sense to me.

almost sounds like a cable could be loose somewhere seeing as it's only downhill

A few times I have had my cruise control on, hit a huge pothole, and the cruise control disengaged. Never thought much of it, I figured the pothole jostled whichever sensor disengages it when I hit the breaks.

I wonder where the OP went?

Problem fix. The switch on the brake pedal need little bit of adjustment. Now works perfect.
