Did any of you purchase a "Coverage One" extended warranty? Or heard about it?

As most are aware, in Canada, the 4G comes standard with a 4yr 80k comprehensive and 5yr 100k power-train warranty. I purchased an extended comprehensive warranty up to 6yr 120k from the dealer which is underwritten by "Coverage One". When I researched this warranty, I found it was popular with BMW CPOs and generally is considered a warranty provider that your manufacturer can deal with directly.

I took this to mean that any Acura dealership would accept this directly instead of me having to pay for repairs and submit receipts.

Anyways, recently I moved and when visiting a dealership close to my home, my service advisor seemed unaware of Coverage One.

I don't need to use it now but it kinda threw me off.

 

i think this is a separate warranty coverage outside of acura warranty... if acura dealerships dont know about it.. mostly they will not accept repairs upon themselves.. call coverage one to check

 

Are you eligible to purchase an Acuracare warranty from a US dealer? almost everyone here goes to Bob @ Hyannisport.

Mine costs ~1265 USD for a $0 deductible 4yr / 100k mile plan
