Computer issues

I've been getting error message at startup on my 2010 TL awd/tech/6 MT. The info display tells me to check the following: the Hill Start Assist system; the SH-AWD system; and the VSA system. I turn the car off, restart it and, for the most part, the error messages go away. I put up with this for four or five days before calling Acura. They said the condition could be caused by a low battery. I thought that odd since the car is only three-months old.

After a few more occurrences (usually after a restart following a journey of some distance), I took the car into the shop. Acura could reproduce the problem and diagnostics indicated a number of error codes. They re-booted the computer and told me to keep an eye on things.

I will.

Brand new generation of cars will always have some sort of bugs.
Thanks for posting and let us know if anything else happens or how you solved it.

From the TSB...

PROBABLE CAUSE
The clutch pedal was repeatedly not released fully
during shifting, causing the VSA control unit to
incorrectly judge a clutch solenoid malfunction

wow, really? I'll have to check that and make sure I release it...fully
