Clicking noise when accelerating hard

Good evening,

I upgraded my wheels to 20" wheels, whenever I accelerate hard I hear a funny clicking noise coming from the front, Its not to loud and It does not happen to often. I had a couple people tell me I'm just being paranoid. I made an appoint with the stealership for next week to see what they say. FYI I also added lowering springs.

To all who upgraded their wheels do you experience any of these problems? Thanks

If you can visually check the cv rubber boots for cracks and spilled out grease that would eliminate one possibility.

what are the full specs of the 20 inch wheels?
are you sure it's not hitting anything!?

and why would you make an appointment with the stealership, when they werent the ones that put the wheels and drop on?

the stealership will rape you and its not even their problem...
Go back to the place that put the springs and wheels on

20x8.5 245/35/20.

Your right about going to the stealership. I took it back to the shop who installed the springs they said everything looks good.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I'm having this problem but it only happens sometimes. When I'm accelerating I hear a clicking noise, I've had it with my OEM wheels and my aftermarket wheels so I know it has nothing to do with that.

I have a dashcam so next time it happens I'll pull the footage and hopefully it'll pick up the sound and I'll post it here.

Have your sub frame bolts checked out, I had the same issue not due to tire change but when I accelerate I was hearing clicking noise and found out to be lose sub frame bolt, I was covered under warranty.
